A Personal Fundraising Message from Roger Crowther
It’s was very tough for me launching The PI Desk without Diane, my wife of over 40 years but I am very grateful for the support of my wonderful family, friends and industry colleagues who have helped me through the difficult times.
Diane was diagnosed with cancer at the end of 2011 and after initially defeating her bowel cancer subsequently passed away in January 2013 as a result of undetected ovarian cancer.
For those that knew Diane all would agree she was the ultimate hard working professional and helped people in many ways be it family, friends through their own personal problems and industry colleagues through their business related claims/issues.
In the last few years we have donated money to Macmillan Cancer Support and will continue with financial support raising money the best ways we can as Macmillan provide special help and care for those suffering with this most dreadful of diseases. They do need as much funding as possible to help find a cure and support people through their most difficult times.
As Macmillan are 98% funded by public donations we hope to raise more money from family, friends, business colleagues and clients for nationwide projects and will match any small personal donations that are passed through The PI Desk.
Finally if you would like to discuss how to or would like to send us a personal donation for matching please contact me.
Thank you in advance for any fundraising support.
Roger
